Make a rechargeable lithium battery pack for your Induction Heater with no soldering required!
This kit allows you to construct a 3S 18650 battery pack with integrated BMS to integrate into your IH build.
The kit contains:
- Custom PCB with a three cell battery holder and BMS (Battery Management System) in place.
- Wires to connect it up
- Shrink tube to wrap it
- Mains charger (UK/EU/US/AUS)
- Charging socket
You just need to attach the wires (included) using the screw terminals put in your batteries (not included) and use the provided shrink wrap to seal it up. See our video for just how easy it is to put together.
We understand a lot of enthusiasts feel a little daunted by building a lithium battery pack, with good reason, they can be dangerous if not treated properly. This kit is to allow anyone to build a battery for their IH with minimal maker skills.
Please note – BATTERIES ARE NOT INCLUDED – we can’t ship lithium cells due to postage restrictions. You’ll need 3 x 18650 cells capable of delivering 20 Amps each. We recommend using branded cells from Samsung, Sony, LG, Panasonic or Molicell. We would specifically recommend Samsung 25Rs or Sony VTC5s
You should always use three brand new identical cells when building a battery pack. Don’t take shortcuts or the cheap option – it’s not worth the risk.
